Seattle Glassblowing Studio, WA

  1. ooh wow! *love* those vases at the top (5th pic)!

  2. I have always been fascinated with "Glass Blowing", they are so beautiful. I made a stained glass panel for a friend of mine when I was at Uni, but it was nothing on the scale of these!
The history of them is very interesting too. Usually at the end of the day, bits of coloured glass were known as "Dumps", so they would make bits and pieces from the left-overs.

Yes, I write my own poems, unless it it is stated. I love butterflies and fireflies, but I haven't seen a firefly in such a long time!

  3. Danielle,
Thanks! They were SO expensive! Even the tiny things! The bottom photo doesn't do those justice. I really should have used a macro to capture more of the color, but yes, I liked those too!

Wonderful! I write poetry, too, but I confess, I worry a bit about copyrights with posting it. I guess some would feel the same about photos, but I don't. You are very talented!
